Posting Schedule

From the Author

I was asked yesterday what the posting schedule is for DD. Right now there isn't a formal schedule — it's a bit of "when I've completed all my other morning work". But, I'm going to try to adhere to a mandatory Mon–Fri posting schedule sometime in the morning, with a Design Dots Roundup Newsletter issue going out on Fridays.

Behind the Scenes

From the Author

Mid week after the launch on Monday, and I can't be more thrilled with the response to Design Dots so far. After a couple of days, the site has seen about 4,500 visits. We also have a good start to our newsletter which I'm working on refining. Sharing these numbers reminds me that I'm going to be setting up a behind-the-scenes blog to share some of the details of how this site is built and maintained. Coming soon!

Customizable Shoes

Last week I ordered some new Adidas shoes online, something I've never done before (buying shoes online), and absolutely loved the whole ecommerce experience there. Everything works well both on desktop and mobile. They also have customizable sneakers where you can practically design your own shoe. It felt a lot like customizing your character in a video game. That, or maybe I've been playing too much Red Dead Redemption 2 🤠
